There's a lot of noise out there right now.
Always is when new media comes into play...
Imagine when the radio was new....
Oh the noise it made to readers.
Then the television...
What a bunch of racket!!!
And so it goes on the internet as a new medium
becomes the norm....
At first it can be noisy and bothersome and then...
Over
time it settles down.
What is it today?
Live Streaming
My feed is full of so many live streams its wild.
Everybody and their uncle has taken to the waves and
in the end it will be a very good thing...
But in the mean time let me teach you the rule of thumb
that I based all my learning on and see if it helps you
out
a smidge...
You can apply this rule forever to all the new mediums that
will come and believe me...there will be MANY!
But there is only so much information you can take in if
you want to build a successful business.
So here we go....

What does the noise and who to listen to have
to do with NATURE?
Well....It has everything to do with nature.
Haven't you ever noticed that anything that is not
in the ecosystem it belongs in DIES?
Test it out...
Go plant a cactus in my Connectucut front yard and
we'l see how it
goes!
Or maybe I'll take a nice maple tree and put it out in Phoenix...
Check that baby in a few weeks and it will be very sick....
Within months it will shrivel and die.
WHY.....
Because NATURE CORRECTS ITSELF ...
And it does it in the business world too.
Whenever something is new there is a GOLDRUSH.
Everyone thinks the new medium in the key to success
and the field gets crowded with all
kinds of people saying
all kinds of things....
Give it a few months and the field thins...
Give it a couple of years and only the people who belonged
in the ecosystem are still standing.
Me....I figured this out early and vowed....no matter how sexy
anything seemed....that I would ONLY listen to people
who
were where I wanted to be and who had been there for
AT LEAST ten(10) years.
Now a days I suppose you could go with 5 if you wanted as
things move faster.....
But I wanted to make sure that the advice I was taken had
stood the ECO SYSTEM test.
Because NATURE
CORRECTS ITSELF...
It removes false leaders.
It always has and it always will...
Sometimes it takes a while so I put in my ten year rule
to be absolutely SURE I was listening to the right voices.
So next time you are confused by all the noise....
Just think of nature and apply the rule of thumb.
That will get you back to where you need to be.
