We are out in Vegas celebrating our 26th anniversary.
Every time I come here I am truly hit with just how
blessed we are today
In 1990 when we got married we were two broke kids
planning our wedding on a shoestring budget.
We were short on money for a honey moon when Larry's
cousin who worked for
Royal Caribbean told us she could
get us an amazing deal on a cruise
We were elated and immediately accepted her offer.
Not long after that she called us again and told us
that she could get us an even better deal and that
it was only going to cost us $25 a day!
$25 x7 =$175! OH YES!
The price was
right!
We were going to have a beautiful honeymoon
on the romantic high seas...LOVE BOAT STYLE!
I was so excited I even went out and bought a cocktail
dress from the clearance rack for formal night.
See...it had all worked out!
Or had it?
Two weeks before the wedding Larry's cousin
found out that the
cruise had booked and that
we couldnt get on.
She forgot to mention that we were booked
STAND BY
She was afraid to tell us and so my mother in law did.
I was crushed and cried for hours.
And then I decided I was going to figure something out.
I know Larry had recently been bumped off a flight
and had a voucher for what was Northwest
Airlines.
I took out their flight map and started to figure out
where we could go that had cheap rooms.
Remember...this was PRE INTERNET.
You couldn't just pull up Travelocity and look....
This was major research.
And then I discovered that in Vegas you could get
rooms at nice resorts for a couple of bucks a night.
I booked us in at
Harrahs...
Which then was a Holiday Inn that looked like a steam boat
I got another flight and I figured we could use some of the wedding money
for food and stuff
So there I was on my honey moon clipping coupons
for 2 for 1 buffets!
It was horrible but I was so in love I didn't care much.
Fast forward to today...
We are sitting in a 5 star hotel with
1000 thread count sheets.
They send up champagne and we go to $300 dinners.
We sit in the vip section at shows and it is pure magic.
They pick us up in a Rolls Royce!
And now more than ever I am SO thankful for our decision
to build a home business and change our lives.
Tuition paid cash, cruises, cars, jewelry...
It's all nice.
I like it a lot
But what I like most if knowing
that
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
And that you CAN have something if you want it.
Now don't get me wrong.
I really do lead a pretty simple life at home.
Nothing fancy.
But when in Vegas....WHY NOT???
Right?
Ok..well I need to run off.
We have a special mastermind going on tomorrow in our
suite and there's lots to do beforehand.
I just wanted to say HEY and tell you
that I KNOW you
can do it too....live your dream life.
And I also wanted to make sure you saw this blog post

Attraction Marketing is what started it all for me.
It can be the answer for you
too!
