YAWN...

So it's funny...

If you have been following my emails
over the last few days you know I am off on
a big ship working on my book.

I have been trying to stay off line as much as
I can so when I do log in I have A LOT of
emails and notifications.

And I suppose during a regular day I don't really
notice much but today I can not help but be hit
be the ridiculosity of the bulk of the headlines and
the actual content of the emails.

WHY do marketers think that the people
who get on their lists are STUPID?

Why are they always in a RUSH to rush
to get your money?

Why do they operate their businesses like they
are not planning on being here tomorrow...

Or next week ...

Or next year ...

Or in ten years?

I don't get it.

And maybe I am just hyper sensitive to it this week
as I write the book but I am FLOORED by the
lack of regard that many marketers have for the
very people who will give them longevity and FREEDOM.

YES....you can be slick and make a lot of money in the
short term by having "hot copy" and "sizzling offers"

But over time... once people have seen it and become immune
to it you are left having to find more people...

Over and over again....

Which means your marketing expenses go UP and UP

And you end up on the perpetual hamster wheel of business

Always having to drop your nets as opposed to having
business just jump on deck of your boat.

(sorry...can't help it...I'm on a ship!)

In my book I will show you how to tap a "neighborhood"
and turn it into millions of dollars.

But rule# 1 is you must RESPECT the neighborhood
and the people that live in it.

Don't show respect and word gets around MIGHTY fast.

And when it does...business gets mighty hard.

But if you RESPECT the neighborhood and it's elders

before you know it EVERYONE in the neighborhood will
be buying from YOU

Over and over again.

And you will be fed LONG TERM.

Just some thoughts running through my very full mind

today while in Jamaica.

No...I didn't go ashore.

I stayed in.

But I did take some pics from my balcony.

Check my FACEBOOK if you want a peek :)

And I'll leave you with this one I just took with

my webcam.

Sitting in the Grand Promenade remembering a

cruise a few years ago with a bunch of business
friends when we would all meet at the pub.

How much fun was that!

In fact...let me ask you...

If I planned a business cruise/seminar

would that be something that interests you?

If so ...let me know and I'll look into it.

Could be amazing.

In fact...

I am thinking 2016 is going to be the year I

bring back events.

It's been ages since I did them.

And now Larry and I have much to say

so let me know your thoughts...

And for the record...

I RESPECT YOU.
