Lazy...and Driven.

Weird combination isn't it?

I like to sleep in...

I hate to do mundane chores.

I get bored easily and look for something new to do.

At times I lack follow through and yet I have more follow through 

that 99% of the people you will meet on this earth.

I will stay up all night to figure something out ...

And yes I will blow off tasks that NEED to be done on a 

regular basis.

Crazy ...right?

I know I am WEIRD.

I knew it as a kid.

I could out perform every other kid in my class

and yet I often had crappy grades...

Seems the BOX they wanted to put me in didn't quite fit :)

I was not cut out for standard society and really had no

idea what I would do with my life ...

So I got married...had kids and got lost in a vat of ice cream

and 10 pm TV dramas.

UNTIL...

I accidentally landed in the home business industry and all 

of a sudden I realized that THIS was a world that was 

custom made for me.

I could use all of my creativity and smarts while at the same

time being as LAZY as I wanted!!!

Once I figured out list building and once I figured out how to 

meet 10 new people on a daily basis it all became like a DREAM.

And this is what I teach people how to do on a daily basis.

But you know what I find?

Seems that maybe I as the LUCKY one...

Lazy with some serious ADHD...

Cause for me the transition was easy peasy...

But for others who were diligent ...

And who had learned to TOE THE LINE and BEHAVE and

do what teacher said word for word...

Well those folks tend to struggle with this profession

because they are trying very hard to find "directions"

And those directions just do not exist.

So they go from course to course...

Guru to guru trying to figure out what can be

broken down into ta few simple steps.

Over complicating and over analysis are the tell tale signs

long enough to do anything at all let alone to do it "the right way"

LOL

When I was in college I would spend the first week of every semester 

studying my professors....

I watch them and listened to them and figured out what they were all about.

I know if I could surmise what what important to them I 

could pass their class.

Some of them wanted you to perform on a multiple choice test based on 

the text book...

Those were the easy peasy ones...

Some wanted a lot of participation ..which means I actually

needed to show up for their class.

But if you talked in calls you were all set...

Again...NO PROBLEMO.

Some wanted you to quote them back to them and tell 

them how BRILLIANT they were...

These were my favorites!

All you had to do was SUCK UP and you were golden...

Now the tough ones...

 

And these were the ones I would avoid like the plague ...

Were the ones that wanted you to write SEVERAL 

multi paged papers to get the grade.

To me...papers were AGONY as it meant putting information

in order for someone else to read.

Man...

If you just gave me an oral exam I knew all the crap they

wanted me to know...

But make me write it all in a sequence and I was in trouble.

The ol ADHD would give me trouble in that area and basically

every single time I would have to wait till the night before

and then stay up all night writing the paper as that was the
ONLY WAY I could focus to get it done.

So WHY am I telling you all of this?

Cause simply put...

EVERYTHING...and I do mean EVERYTHING is a FORMULA.

Your job is to just FIND THE FORMULA.

And that is what I did in this industry.

And because I found the formula I have been on easy street

for a long time now.

There's only a few things you need to do.

And you need to do them EVERY DAY...

And when you do CONSISTENTLY you WIN.

And when you WIN you can goof off the rest of the time

like I do.

Like I said...

I am Lazy and Driven.

And NOW I know why I had to go through all that as a kid.

It was to set me up for TODAY and this glorious life I live :)
