I have another  weird 2 am kinda thing going on tonight.

 

Got all wound up working and now I can't settle down.

 

But its all good.

 

I got a lot done.

 

Usually do in the still of the night.

 

So anyways...

 

I was just getting ready to shut down and I thought that

I haven't done an ASK DIANE post on my blog in a few weeks...

You know what the best part about becoming successful is???

 

It's being able to reach back to those that are coming down the road behind you 

and helping those folks along.

 

My biggest desire has ALWAYS been to be the kind of mentor that I PRAYED for 

back 12 years ago when I was just starting out.

 

I realize now that the answer was all in the way I was (or wasn't) thinking.

 

So most of my training focuses on THOUGHT PROCESS...

 

Not "what to do"

 

Often this frustrates people as they so much want someone to tell them 

"what to do"

 

But if you focus on "what to do"....

 

Bingo Bango...

 

Technology or procedures change and now you are back in square one.

 

If you focus on how to think...

 

You will ALWAYS know what to do!!!

 

People are always STUNNED that I have had no formal computer or internet training, 

 

No formal marketing training, no formal speaking training (until recently)

 

And whenever something new comes out I am always the first one playing with it.

 

I DO NOT wait for a class....

 

I just DO THE DO!

 

And that is where you need to get to...

 

Where you no longer need direction.

 

Mentoring ...YES...

 

But direction...NO.

 

Decide TODAY that you are now your own leader!

 

Decide today that you CAN and you will be stunned at what happens.

 

Lo and behold...People will follow you!!

 

And you will make all the money you want.

 

Lead YOURSELF first and the rest comes EASY.
