I have to admit it...
My business model is NOT fancy.
It's pretty basic.
I modeled it after the old school mom and pops I grew up with in New York City.
A little store that carried everything the neighborhood needed.
I just found a "neighborhood" on the internet and catered to it and the rest is history.
Have you found YOUR neighborhood?
Fancy internet types call it a NICHE but me...
i think its just people.
A bunch of people with a similar interest.
The internet types will also tell you to drive people into a CAPTURE PAGE and then to hit them with a TRIPWIRE.
Those sound like torture devices to me.
Why would I want to torture the people in MY NEIGHBORHOOD???
I totally understand all the internet tactics and use them but I do it MY WAY...
My COMMUNITY WAY.
The way they did it back in the day at the corner store my family went to ALMOST DAILY.
Imagine creating a business that your community came to regularly to buy everything they need.
No chasing...
No closing...
Just SERVING.
That's what a Modern Day Mom And Pop is and that what we're going to be working on during July and August during my Cash Flow Summer.
Breaks my heart to watch people still chasing after years in the business.
I was on a training yesterday where the leaders discussed all the chasing tactics that they use.
And all I could think to myself is that this just doesn't make sense.
It never has since 1999 when I was first introduced to the idea so after trying it for a bit I went down a different path and never looked back.
I took old school and new school and mixed them up and VOILA...
I made a fortune on MY CORNER OF THE INTERNET!
