Email doesn't work.
And to them I say...
Ya...I guess its not working for YOU.
Too bad about that.
And I drop it.

No one opens emails.
And I say...
Wow...sorry no one is opening YOUR emails.
And I drop it.
People tell me every day...
Open rates are down.
And to that I say...
Sorry YOUR open rates are down.
And I drop it.
And then I watch them toodle off and pontificate on Facebook about all their incredible marketing tactics and tricks....going on and on about target markets, and customer avatars, and all other kinds of marketing goobeldy goop.
In the mean time I write a few letters while in my jamies (I am in them now) and I crush it recruiting and selling with the stoke of a keyboard.
But ya...
Email sucks.
Or at least for the people that don't know how to use it for their home business.
I don't know...
I guess folks enjoy chasing after people who like a picture of their pug and they still think those are leads...but anyone who has a profitable lists knows they are NOT.
Or maybe they are into the Linked In weird inbox ritual...
You know...."Hello There....I saw your profile and it seems to me that we might have common interests YADA YADA YADA"
Or maybe people like messaging person after person saying BUY MY STUFF for the 7th year in a row.
And if they do...
AWESOME.
That's just awesome.
But me...
I make the bulk of my money via EMAIL.
And so do all the internet players.
It's how the game is played by people who have a long term perspective and intend to service a clientele and help them make a DECISION TO BUY.
So despite all the people who adamantly tell me that EMAIL DOESN'T WORK I am conducting an Email Sales Writing Workshop starting the day after Labor Day.
