After having been out of the game for a while after my divorce
I decided it was time to come back to the business I have spent
years building.
And I was super happy be back serving the home business space
and the people I had come to love.
But something was nagging at me.
Truth is that for 3 years I had been coasting and hadn't
really learned much new stuff.
If you know me at all then you know that is just not me.
I love marketing and love to study all the cool new stuff out there.
I was reduced to just going through the motions.
And yes...the motions were still profitable and I had
a nice list to keep the sales coming in but I started
yearning for more.
For the first time in a long time I wanted to dig back in and
start studying again.
And so I invested in my education..
I invested big and started training with some of the top marketers
not in the space but in the WORLD.
And I have to tell you...
It has been cathartic.
I am once again inspired to bring new ideas and courses out to the
marketing place and this month is the first month I have taken on
a cohort based coaching group of 4.
I'm already loving working with this group that I call the Fab 4 and
they are inspiring me on all kinds of things to do in the near future.
One of the most interesting parts of this whole period of regeneration
for me has been reconnecting with an old colleague who is now
someone I consider a mentor...
Mike Dillard.
I have known Mike probably since 2006 or so.
We were both brought up on the work of Joe Schroeder and
Mike went on the create Magnetic Sponsoring which changed the home
business industry forever.
After conquering the biz op space Mike went on the build a blockbuster
financial education program, get involved in the organic food movement,
create marketing courses, membership sites and on and on.
He is extremely well known in internet marketing circles and after all
these years is still the same straight shooting guy he was back when I met him.
The NO HYPE king of marketing.
I have always admired that.
His skill is so strong he doesn't have to rely on all the silly techniques
that so many use to make a buck.
And you know me...
I just don't play the hype game.
So I got involved in Mike's mentorship program and most
recently I joined his mastermind.
