Slugworth....

Remember the guy we all thought was evil in Willy Wonka???

Slugworth?

I have always used that as a silly term for when I get very unmotivated.

You know what I'm talking about...

Sweat pants...

In my case messy bun.

A lot of Netflix and Youtube.

And a whole boatload of marketing training

and podcasts cause I'm a nerd like that.

(Tea with GaryVee sometimes 2 hours a day!)

But a general state of malaise and truthfully I have

not been feeling well for a while.

So I have not been productive.

But what you really need to understand is that

not being productive or creative does not mean

I don't generate leads and sales.

When your home business is what puts food

on the table you don't have that luxury.

But the beauty is you can morph your activity based on the

mood you are in or the way you are feeling.

For me it has meant much more writing and virtually no

camera work.

I have cut a series of copy dissection videos where I didn't need

to be seen which worked out great when I was operating

SLUGWORTH STYLE.

We all have a Slugworth in us....

Unless you are one of those perky perfect people that

I pretty much detest.

<sorry...but I do>

So when your Slugworth comes out the question is

what's your plan to manage him?

I don't have happy clappy in me pretty much 365

so when I am Slugworth I got NUTTIN.

But I have a plan to work around him

Do you?

Or are you the person who likes to beat yourself up and

believe that everyone is perfect but you.

Sorry to burst your bubble...

BUT WHERE NOT.

We just know how to manage our

Dark sides,

Or our mania,

Or our kids pestering us

Or our wanting to be perfect

Or our negative spouse

Or or dog wanting to pee

Or whatever it is for you.

Success is about SELF MANAGEMENT

And I will 100% that I am not always the best at this

but I have mastered it enough to do millions in sales

And YOU CAN TOO.

It takes a focus on your desire.

And holding that desire ABOVE your Slugworth.

Me personally...

I am educating myself for a new level in business.

I have changed who I am listening to and what I am training myself on.

And yes...I have been a sweat pant baby for sure.

But today I put on some pants...

(They still fit! Thanks Tru Vision)

I put on some makeup...

And I hit the computer and I went to work.

I will run as hard as I can while I am feeling up and I will

allow myself to sink down when that is where my energies take me.

But the one thing I do is NEVER, EVER let go of my desire or

stop building towards it.

I create when it is time to create...

I learn when it is time to learn.

I listen to my God Force and follow HIs lead

And in the end I prevail.

So knowing that you are not different than anyone who has made it...

I want you to ask yourself.

What do I want?

Am I building the skills that will take me to that?

Have I mastered the fundamentals so that new teachers can appear for me?

You'll find in the weeks ahead I will be talking to two groups ...

The ones who know they need to master the fundamentals FAST

and the ones who are ready to level up.

Identify which one you are so you can be straight up with yourself.
