If you went back to the year 1995 no one in the Network Marketing
industry with the exception of a few elite people had ever heard of
a funnel, an autoresponder, a drip campaign or branding.
It was a belly to belly neighborly business model designed to
help families make a few extra dollars sharing some high quality
products that were not available in stores.
It was largely innocent and friendly and most people who got involved
had no idea they were part of a mega industry...
They were just selling some diet pills or face cream and they were HAPPY
with $500 extra to pay for the family vacation to Disney World.
But then came the internet...
And all of a sudden MARKETING CONCEPTS that had been
reserved for the few that hit the library stacks were now being
passed around to the masses.
And quite frankly...
Greed ran rampant.
All of a sudden the housewife who could get started from
her kitchen table was pushed to set up marketing systems
that most corporations didn't even have.
The truck driver and the school teacher were told they needed
to become copy and ad experts and drop at least five grand
a month to feed the machines of the svengalis that directed them.
Of course with each new skill they were supposed to acquire
there was a corresponding course they were supposed to buy
which lined the pockets of the puppet masters.
What was once a simple business that built confidence and gave
a terrific social environment of uplifting people to the person
who was seeking more became an ever increasing spiral of debt
and self esteem destruction.
And today I see a sea of people who have taken a thousand
courses and have extensive marketing knowledge and yet are
incapable of executing even the most basic functions of their business.
It's like they have a masters degree but they can't tie their own shoes.
And this my friend is thee perversion of an industry...
For profit.
For greed...
In the name of making more....
At the expense of the many.
And me...
Well I just don't subscribe to this.
I firmly believe that people must come down a road and build
a foundation for their business.
They must learn certain skills in a certain order so that
they may become proficient.
This process once belonged in the hands of caring upline that
was invested in developing a strong team.
But today the only one that is going to take on that responsibility
has to be YOU.
And hey....
Don't get me wrong...
I am ALL FOR learning marketing.
I did.
I am all for sharpening your saw...
I did.
And I am all for marketing courses...
I buy them and I sell them.
But if you are in a place where you could not make a sale
today to save your life you have absolutely NO BUSINESS
building funnels and having photo shoots to brand yourself.
If you have no ability to communicate with a prospect or customer
in person or over the phone....
How you gonna master copywriting???
Helloooo.......
Do you get this?
What I am asking you today is...
Can you tie your own shoes?
And if not...when will you commit to learning.
If someone sold you a bill of goods that playing on the internet
was gonna make you not have to do what you know you have to do...
Maybe its time to pick up another voice.
A VOICE OF REASON.
One that is not trying to just sell you but that is actually
interested in your learning to do this stuff once and for all.
LOOK....
First you gotta decide.
Am I a networker or am I not?
Some people are...some people aren't....
And THAT'S OK.
The you have to say...
If I am a networker ...I need to MASTER the fundamentals...
Old school.
I need to recruit ten people with the help of my
upline in a traditional way.
Don't have a decent upline?
Then you may want to move.
Serious.
You need support and people to help you learn
the process.
You can not learn this in a book no matter how
many times you read it.
This is a MODELING process.
Now if you really pray on it and come to the conclusion
that you are NOT a networker then you need to look seriously
at other models of selling online
And you need to find a place you can learn.
A place that is more interested in your success story than your buck.
And you need to dig in and learn the process there.
You need to give it time and focus.
You need to learn the fundamentals of creating a sales process
and you need to get it up online and running.
But the one thing that I don't want you to do is spin around
with no direction in the middle of a perverted industry that
is designed to take your money.
You have a choice.
You can TRANSCEND that.
You can TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for yourself.
You can stand up and take a long hard look at your
profit and/or loss for the year.
You can make a decision to move forward in 2019 like
a business person...not a pawn in someone else's game.
You can control your own greed and not let anyone trigger
it anymore with offers of something for nothing.
You can manage your self image and not let yourself
be led around by a ring in your nose just to feel like
someone LIKES you.
You can be all you were born to be.
You are reading this because you have a DESIRE.
Believe me...
The DESIGNER put the DESIRE in you for a reason.
But now it is your time to grab the brass ring.
Don't let the perversion of an industry keep YOU from
YOUR GLORY.
For if it did that surely would be a sin.
You are more.
You can, and you will.
I believe in you.
For if a shy little housewife like me could figure it out...
I have not a doubt that you can.
There has never been a better time for you earn income.
It has never been easier.
There has never been so much leverage available to the
average person....
And there has never been so much noise.
And it is that damn noise that will kill you...
So my advice for you today is to go get some damn earmuffs
and put them on.
Let no man distract you from your destiny.
Let no man keep you apart.
