Buffalooooooo!!!!

Hi from Wyoming!

Those are wordsI never thought I would say!

My friend offered to take me to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore and some buffalo and the black hills and I gladly accepted.

Only one problem....

Cell phone data doesn't work too well out here and by the time I get back to the hotel each evening I was too exhausted to pull out my computer so I have been kinda quiet.

But if you follow me on social at all you KNOW what has been going on.

This trip has been LIFE CHANGING for me.

For a while now...

Especially since being in the ICU with covid last summer...

I have sought a simpler existence.

Something more meaningful than all the silly social media madness.

And somehow being amongst thousands of cows...some pretty impressive landscapes and the antelope has reminded me of what it's like to not be on the run 24 hours a day.

Depending on who you listen to they will tell you that your business is about the money.

Trust me when I tell you ....

It's not.

Yes...

Make all the money and get yourself situated and secure.

But then

OPEN YOUR EYES to the BEAUTY all around you.

To THE PEOPLE

To NATURE.

Go see all the things you want to see.

Do the things that make your heart soar.

And

LIVE.

Breathe in the air.

I kept remarking that all week...

The air is SO good here.

I love the ocean.

I now know it's because of the air.

I now love the mountains and the plains.

Because of the air.

And let's face it...

You can't take in the air when you are in the grind.

No matter where you live.

You MUST become F.REE if you want your heart and your soul to SOAR.

So yes...

Let's work.

Yes...

Let's learn.

Yes...

Let's EARN.

But be clear about WHY you are doing it.

And what the end game is for you.

I so wish you could feel what i have felt this week.

I'll do all I can to convey it...

But it the end it is up to you to find YOUR buffalo.

Where the deer and the antelope play...

(I saw a ton of those too! And prairie dogs!)

Never in a million years did this Brooklyn girl think she would leave the hard cold streets of New York City and end up on a gravel road in the middle of no where and just love every minute.

But I DID.

And now I am tuckered out and heading off to bed.

Dreaming of what I will see tomorrow and who I will help as soon as I get back.

Nighty night from this 55 year old girl who is just discovering what America is all about.

It's not what they told me back in the 80's.

It is so, so much more.
