True confessions time.
When I was married the plan was(or at least I thought) that my ex would hold the job and accumulate a pension while I worked on the business so that he could retire at 55 and we would be F.REE.
It didn't quite work out that was and during the legalities I basically had to give up my claim to the retirement funds in order to avoid alimony.
It had never occurred to me to worry too much about that kind of stuff because I never imagined us breaking up.
I saw up riding off into the sunset with an amazing business we ran together backed up by a school system pension and social security.
But alas...
That did not come to pass.
And now here I am at 55 making a great living but behind on having that nest egg for my old age.
Seems like a lot of people are in that boat.
Maybe you relate.
So ya...
I am saving and putting money away but I have also been looking in to options that could give me some leverage and help me move faster.
10 years is not a long time to save millions if you know what I mean.
My parents are in their 80s and I had grandparents and great grandparents that lived well into their 90s so I expect to be around for a bit so let's say
I AM MOTIVATED to fix the situation
Which is why I am dabbling in crypto.
I've held some bitcoin for quite a while I did well.
But the rest of it is foreign to me.
So I have been doing research.
And during that research al roads kept leading to one place.
So today at 5 est I am watching a webinar to learn about a trading system and see a live demo.
NO...
I am NOT going to turn in to that person who hounds you in your DMs about crypto.
I really don't care what you do with your money but I thought I would share my situation and see if you wanted to look WITH me.
HERE'S THE LINK in case you want to see it.
If you read this after 5 pm let me know and I'll see if I can get my hands on the replay.
I know the guy who is running this so hopefully he can hook us up.
Anyways...
I gotta run,
Just wanted to share.
Yes...
I am embarrassed about my situation but I KNOW I an not the only one in this spot.
If not you then maybe someone else you know would find this helpful.
I'll be on the webinar.
Message me if you want to compare notes.
